What is Noted North?
Noted North was created to bring together Canadian communicators to connect, and collectively discuss authentic, engaging solutions to address the gaps in the industry—gaps such as investing time and resources into real creativity and innovation, allowing issues like diversity and sustainability to make real impact, and taking full advantage of tech’s capability to further reach and engagement.
Communication, while the foundation for every industry, is an artform that often goes unnoticed and unrefined. In Canada specifically, this has led to a lot of beautiful, yet safe and uninspired work. Marketing, public relations, media, advertising, publishing, social media — our job is to inform and entertain, to disclose and engage, to connect the dots.

Noted North emerged out of the feedback from the city’s inaugural Communications Week conference in October 2018, an offshoot of the longstanding Communications Week conference founded in New York by Kite Hill Public Relations. The event brought together industry professionals to discuss the Workforce of the Future.
Noted North will be a two-day immersive experience into what Canadian communications could look like, and is produced by the team behind socially-conscious digital communications agency, Press Pillay.
